Millicent “Millie” Flanigan, 88, of Decatur, IL passed away on Thursday, December 23, 2010 in her residence.
A service to celebrate Millie’s life will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Decatur with visitation one
hour before services at the church. Burial will be in North Fork Cemetery, Decatur. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church or the Lutheran School Association (LSA). Mrs. Flanigan was born on February 19, 1922 in Whitehaven, Egremont, England, the daughter of George & Mabel Postlethwaite. She married Charles Flanigan on November 28, 1947. He preceded her in death. She is a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Decatur.
She is survived by: son, Alan Flanigan and wife Janet of Denver, CO; daughter, Nancy Minton and husband Dave of Decatur, IL; two grandsons, Joel Minton and wife Casey and Jason Minton and wife Joanne; two great grandchildren, Logan and Ella; and brother, William Postlethwaite of Cumbria, England.
